Hi friends, colleagues and guests !

Here is a summary of my curriculum vitae :
I was born in 1952 in Kemerting, a small village near Burghausen.
After my study at the Munich University of Applied Sciences,
Department of Geoinformatics, I graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. (FH). In 1975 I joined the German Volunteer Service (DED) and worked for two years in a slum redevelopment project in Tanzania.

Since 1978 I am permanent staff member at the LPF. I consider as one of my major tasks to bridge research and application. Therefore my prior fields of interests are application oriented projects. Furthermore I am involved in supporting labs and diploma theses.
